About Us

Coking Farm Fishery is a well managed coarse fishery located in the heart of the Blackmore Vale, on the A30, half way between Henstridge and West Stour. On site is a shower and toilet block with access to fresh water. There is also a well-stocked tackle shop supplying baits from companies such as CC Moore, Mainline and D.N.A baits, as well as sweetcorn and a full range of Fox and Korda tackle, clothing and tackle from other companies such as Ridgemonkey and Rig Marole.
We also sell cold soft drinks, chocolate and there is a catering van offering breakfast and evening food. There is a butcher on site who stocks local meats and home produced sausages and burgers.
The lakes together total over 30 acres . The fishery consists of 7 well-stocked lakes catering for everyone from the pleasure angler to the week long session carp angler wishing to pit his or her wits against the wariest of carp and even catfish. There is a lake to cater for everybody’s taste and preferred method of fishing. The lakes average 4 acres each, which we believe is a nice size, not too big and not too small. Bookings can be taken for individuals or groups wishing to book the whole of a lake , see the lakes page for more details. All of this is available to us because of the people that make it happen. Without the dedicated Coking Farm team we wouldn't have such a fantastic fishery.

All Lakes except Rush Lake are Booking Only Weekends 48 hour bookings only on all Specimen Lakes between March - October lakes No Access to lakes unless booked in and paid . Visitors must not exceed the site speed limit of 10mph

TACKLE SHOP

image20

We have a well stocked tackle shop on site supplying bait from some of the best bait companies around such as CC Moore and Dna baits. Quality is paramount for these company's and they produce fishing baits of the highest possible quality, giving anglers the greatest chance of catching in any given situation. Whether you use boilies, pellets, particles, groundbaits or spod mixes you can rest assured that if you're sat behind rods baited with these products you've taken your first steps to angling success. We stock groundbait, hemp, pellets, floaters, boilies, pop-ups, dips, pva, stick mix, session buckets and pretty much anything the Carp angler needs. We also stock Fox rods, reels, tackle and luggage, along with products by Korda and Ridgemonkey.

You can even pop in and get a cold drink, chocolate or an item of clothing from CC Moore, Fox or from our very own Coking Farm Fishery range.

The baitshop has a friendly atmosphere and is the ideal place to ask about the lakes and to keep upto date with what's working on the lakes and what's not. The baitshop walls have lots of photographs of our fish and we're happy to pop yours on the wall for everybody to see. Our team are here to make your visit a good one so please don't hesitate to ask us questions about the lakes, rigs, pegs, etc..
